Day 1: Ha Noi arrival (D).
Arrive at Noi Bai airport. Check in a Hotel, have time to relax after your journey. Later, you’ll be picked up for a welcome dinner at a good restaurant hosted in a French colonial building. In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of Traditional Water Puppetry (an art form unique to northern Viet Nam, and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture). O/N in Ha Noi.
Day 2: Hanoi’s Tangible and Intangible Heritage – Ha Long (b/l/d).
AM: Have breakfast. Discover Vietnam’s thousand-year-old capital city, possibly including Ho Chi Minh complex with Ho Chi Minh Mosoluem, Stilt house, One Pillar padoda, the Temple of Literature. You’ll also visit the bustling Ha Noi’s Old Quarter. Apart from its maze of small streets, it’s an architectural pot-pourri - traditional tube houses, religious buildings, colonial houses, artisans’ dwellings and modern concrete constructions. Have lunch.
PM: Depart to Ha Long. Arrival in Ha Long city. Check in a hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Ha Long.
Day 3: halong – Hue (b/l/d)
AM: Breakfast. Depart from Hotel and transfer to Ha Long. Then Take a Deluxe Private boat trip to Visit Ha Long Bay. Take an excursion to Heaven Grotto, Wooden Cave or Surprising Cave, Bai Tho Mountain(Poems), Tortoise Rock, Toad Islet. Take photograph at Fighting Cocks Island. Lunch on the Boat with fresh sea foods.
PM: Return to Ha Noi. Have a stop over at Hai Duong Province to enjoy Vietnam Traditional Geen Bean Cakes. Transfer to Noi Bai airpot for departure Hue. Arrive at Hue. Your overnight stay will be in Hue.
Day 4: Full day of Hue city (b/l/d).
AM: Have breakfast. Starti visiting The Imperial Citadel - World Cultural Heritage, Dong ba market Have lunch.
PM: Continue your trip to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, and a cruise along the Perfume River to King Minh Mang’s tomb (exotic, and designed in a typically formal oriental style).
Your overnight stay will be in Hue.
Day 5: Hue - Hoi An (b/l/d).
AM: Transfer to Da Nang (the views from top of Hai Van Pass are excellent – you’ll be able to see Lang Co beach and the lagoon far below, and Da Nang spread out before you to the south).. Upon arriving in Da Nang, you’ll have a brief look at the remarkable Hindu statuary in the Cham Museum before leaving for Hoi An. After lunch,
PM: You’ll have a guided visit to the Ancient Town of Hoi An witt Japanese covered brigde, Quan Cong temple…. Your overnight stay will be in Hoi An
Day 6: Hoi - My Son (b/l/d).
AM: Breakfast, you’ll be driven to My Son Sanctuary, once the spiritual capital of the Cham Kingdom that dominated SE Asia for nearly a thousand years, and now a World Heritage Area. Its remarkable brick towers were badly bombed by the Americans, but are still impressive as is its remote valley setting. Your afternoon will be free to relax on the beach or wander around Hoi An. O/N in Hoi An
PM: Free yourself for discovering Hoi An town. Have dinner and your overnight stay will be in Hoi An
Day 7: Hoi An - Ha Noi (b/l/d).
You’ll be picked up in good time to board either the morning or afternoon flight to Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City for your departure flight.
Day 8: Ha Noi/ Ho Chi Minh – Departure (b).
You are free to relax or further explore Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh city. The trip ends after your transfer to Noibai Airport/ Tan Son Nhat for departure.
